DM the Canvas bot

Open Telegram and message @CanvasVerificationBot.

Provide group details

The bot will ask for:
  • Group link or username
  • Topic and audience description (used to match advertisers to your group)
  • Base wallet address for payouts
  • Price per verification (default: $0.10 USDC)

Add the bot as admin

Add @CanvasVerificationBot as admin with these two permissions:
  • Restrict members
  • Send messages
No other permissions are needed.

Go live

Once confirmed, the group appears in the Canvas registry and becomes eligible to receive advertiser campaigns matching its topic.
During early access, all groups are manually approved before appearing in the registry. There is no minimum member count requirement at this stage.

Existing members

Canvas only intercepts new joins. Existing members are unaffected. Phase 2 adds optional periodic re-verification for existing members — see Re-verification.

Pricing

The default price is $0.10 USDC per verified join. You can set a higher floor. Advertisers can bid above your floor — your payout is always the winning bid price, not your floor price. If no active campaign is running for your group, new joins pass through without a task.

Payout wallet splits

Payouts can be split across multiple wallets. Provide split instructions during registration or update them at any time by messaging @CanvasVerificationBot.

Removing Canvas

Remove @CanvasVerificationBot as admin. Active verifications in queue will be cleared and new joins will proceed without a task.
