# Payouts

> How USDC reaches your wallet.

## Split

| Recipient | Share |
| --------------- | ------------------------ |
| Group owner | 90% of winning bid price |
| Canvas Protocol | 10% platform fee |

At $0.10/verification: group owner receives $0.09.\
At $0.25/verification: group owner receives $0.225.

## Timing

Payouts land within seconds of a passing verification. The Canvas relayer submits the `releasePayout` transaction on Base immediately after Kimi scores a transcript above the threshold. No claiming step, no minimum balance, no batch schedule.

Every payout is verifiable on Basescan using your wallet address. Escrow contract: `0xf808b264E13Bf809C8e86afaF4e14c200931101E`.

## What triggers a payout

Three conditions must be met:

1. A user attempts to join your group while an active campaign is running
2. The user completes the conversation with the Canvas agent
3. Kimi scores the transcript at or above the pass threshold

Failed verifications — including Kimi outages — do not trigger a payout and do not bill the advertiser.

## Revenue estimates

These figures assume 80% of join attempts result in a passing verification and an active campaign running throughout the month.

| Group size | Est. monthly joins | Passing verifications | Revenue at \$0.10 |
| --------------- | ------------------ | --------------------- | ----------------- |
| 1,000 members | \~50 | \~40 | \$3.60 |
| 5,000 members | \~200 | \~160 | \$14.40 |
| 20,000 members | \~600 | \~480 | \$43.20 |
| 100,000 members | \~2,000 | \~1,600 | \$144.00 |

Higher advertiser bids increase payout per join. The figures above use the floor price. Active groups with large, topic-specific audiences tend to attract higher bids.

Re-verification (Phase 2) adds a separate revenue stream on top of new joins — see [Re-verification](/group-owners/re-verification).
